"I like suffering as much as I like going to the dentist, so I am not suggesting that we seek suffering. However, I do believe that once we understand the principles taught in this message, we can learn, from the scripture, how to go through it victoriously. Instead of debilitating our faith, suffering can provide us with the ultimate opportunity to grow and be strengthened. This message, which arises out of 1 Peter 4 and 5, calls us to 'arm ourselves with the same attitude' that Christ had when He suffered. This is a powerful lesson that will enable us to experience deep joy, that is not based on life circumstances."
